The "Birdrock" in Ocean Beach along Sunset Cliffs Blvd. Ocean Beach is unique because half the city is one beautiful beaches and the other half along the south end is lined with cliffs and tidal pools.

Puerto Nuevo "The Lobster Village" just south of San Diego about 50 minutes away. This is a very popular place for tourists and locals to have lunch and do a little shopping. This area is famous for lobster lunches and dinners and has been serving them up to visitors since the early 1960's.

Calafia Mexico is another famous place for lunch or a nights stay. Here is a photo from their restaurant with awesome ocean views. Calafia is one of the original Catholic Missions which came from Spain in the late 1700's.
