Sun Diego's Beanies & Bikinis Snowboard Expo and Bikini Contest Party hit Mission Beach Saturday November 19, 2005 with a bang.
Artificial snow was brought in to fill up the ramp and the contestants gave a great effort to try to win over $10,000 in prize money.
The evening was a smash hit also with over 500+ people heading to The Wave House Bar and Grill for the after party sponsored by Rusty and featuring some beautiful women in the 2006 Miss Sun Diego bikini contest which started at 9PM.
The evening wrapped up with some great music featuring the bands U-GOD of WU TANG.

Here is an aerial view of where the event took place. The Wave House sits right on the bgoardwalk and the snowboarding hill was set up behind the Giant Dipper Roller Coaster, which is the second oldest wooden roller coaster in the United States.
What a great place for a party!

How do you get snow to the beaches of San Diego???
You grab a few ice trucks and have a huge ice grinder convert it into snow.
Here is a look at the conversion process which took about an hour and a half to cover the ramps and landing areas.
