2005 A Day in Laguna Beach with Tiffany
Laguna Beach is a beautiful beach area in Orange County "The OC" with dozens of little pockets of beaches spreading out along the coastline on the way down to Dana Point and San Juan Capistrano.
Many of these beach areas are right in the main section of downtown with walking trails going along elegantly landscaped gardens and some of the best views in Southern California.
Laguna Beach is a somewhat upscale community and has a downtown area that is about 6 square blocks of shops, coffee houses, art galleries, restaurants and clothing boutiques. The remaining businesses in town line the Pacific Coast Highway and go down for miles from Newport Beach to Dana Point.
The City of Laguna Beach is well known as a unique beach community and artist's colony with seven miles of City beaches running along its nine square miles. The resident population enjoys the ambiance provided by the sandy beaches, canyons and coastal hills. During the summer, several million visitors are drawn to the resort environment for its picturesque beaches, art festivals and the Pageant of the Masters. Laguna's village scale shopping district, blufftop walkways and tram system create a pedestrian environment and scale which is unique in Southern California.
