Take a scenic tour of Pacific Beach, Mission Beach, and Mission Bay San Diego here. As the camera pans to the west(right) you will see Mission Bay and downtown San Diego in the far background. The small strip of sand that separates that Mission Bay from the Pacific Ocean towards the middle of the tour is Mission Beach. It is actually about 3 miles long although it looks very small in the virtual tour. Pacific Beach is all the land from the bay and ocean to the camera, and all the way up from were the Mission Beach strip of sand connects to the mainland and up the coastline north.
