One of San Diego's most famous surfing hang outs. This place is well known for long boarders and has been a popular spot for locals for over 40 years. It is not uncommon to see anywhere from 50-250 surfers in the waters around the Tourmaline surf break on a good surf day.

The Mission beach Lifeguard Station, at Ventura Place by Belmont Park and the Giant Dipper Roller Coaster. 2 1/2 miles south of the Crystal Pier is the heart of Mission Beach with Belmont Park, Mission Bay, Seaworld and a ton of beautiful parkland and beaches.
