There are a ton of places down here, but I have Gabianos Pizza first because I eat there the most.
They have a ton of good submarine sandwiches, pizza, and good salads!
For me being 36 and single, this is what I refer to as "the commons", or the cafeteria for my "dorm". It is just that the food comes delivered all day and night fast, and that is worth its weight in gold when the coach potatoe feelings set in.
I just call up and say "the regular" and that's it.
After almost 5 years of living in South Mission it is alomost routine:-))

I love tyhe place because the owners are so kind and friendly.
Over the years they have sent me pictures and free dinners for just being a customer. On my anniversary with my girlfriend they took some really nice photos and mailed them to me, just because they found out while we were eating.
I love places like this that are warm and friendly, and Saskas makes everyonbe feel like family. The family business started here in Mission Beach over 50 years ago and the kids,(who are all well grown) still run the place and have been there forever.
They have awesome food, which everyone here at the beach will attest, and the Sushi Bar, (next door, not in this photo) provides a great place for trying something different.
Do not worry about parking since they have a valet service ($3.00) that will take care of that for you!
